Job summary

Valeo North America is seeking a motivated Maintenance Technician to join our Hamilton, Ohio facility. This role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment reliability, production continuity, and ongoing improvement.

The position supports the 2nd shift, troubleshooting equipment issues, performing maintenance interventions, and contributing to safety, quality, and productivity initiatives. Active participation in 5S, QRQC, and improvement projects is expected.

Qualifications

• Maintenance technician with focus on preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
• Ability to work on electrotechnical, automated, mechanical systems and PLCs.
• Participation in 5S, QRQC, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on factory equipment (electrotechnical, automated, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic).
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment and breakdowns on the 2nd shift.
• Lead or contribute to improvement projects, including new resource commissioning and process documentation.
• Participate in 5S, QRQC, and maintenance logs to ensure traceability.
