DICK'S Sporting Goods is hiring a Maintenance Technician at our Distribution Center in Whitney Point, NY. This role involves maintaining and repairing facility equipment and conveyance systems, following PM schedules, and ensuring safe operations during the shift.

The candidate will troubleshoot hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and electrical schematics, while mentoring junior technicians and coordinating with vendors to complete projects. Shift: 2B, Tue–Fri, 5:30pm–3:30am.

Qualifikationen

• Associate’s Degree required.
• 2-year vocational certificate or degree in mechanical or electrical field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in maintenance roles.
• Welding, burning, cutting experience.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes & PLC controls.
• Able to read electrical/mechanical drawings/schematics.

Aufgaben

• Adhere to OSHA and safety standards throughout maintenance work.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment and conveyance systems.
• Report spare parts usage and inventory levels.
• Train junior technicians to improve performance.
• Collaborate with outside vendors to complete projects.
• Perform other duties to support DC operations.
