DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our distribution center. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing facility equipment, conveyors, and related systems while following PM standards and documenting work in the asset management system.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of mechanical/electrical experience, welding skills, and proficiency with DC-specific software. This on-site position offers a shift-based schedule and competitive hourly pay with a shift differential.

Competenze

• Associate's Degree in a relevant field preferred.
• 2 year vocational technical certificate or degree in mechanical or electrical applications.
• 3-5 years of experience.
• Welding, burning, cutting.
• Hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes and PLC controls.
• Familiar with DC-specific software packages (Crown PM, Gage) and equipment.
• Able to read electrical/mechanical drawings/schematics.
• Good safety awareness.
• Able to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull & lift up to 75 lbs.
• Experience with LOTO.

Mansioni

• Adhere to safety requirements including OSHA standards with regards to LOTO and safe work practices.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all equipment related to the facility and conveyance systems within the facility. Follow PM standards and document work performed for accurate record keeping in our asset management system.
• Accurately report spare parts inventory levels and daily parts usage to Maintenance leadership to help ensure spare parts inventory is maintained.
• Assist in teammate development by training junior technicians in order to elevate their performance level while troubleshooting and repairing any related assets.
• Work closely with outside vendors in order to complete projects within the DCs in a safe and timely manor.
• Take on other duties as needed to support the DC and it’s operational needs
