Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking an LVN III for the Mexia State Supported Living Center on evening shifts. The role involves advanced vocational nursing for residents with complex medical/behavioral needs, with potential for additional evening/night/weekend pay.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a LVN program.
• 6 months prior employment as LVN.
• 12 months of LVN experience preferred.
• Experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities preferred.
• Experience training/leading others preferred.
• Experience using an electronic health record system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Trains and supervises LVN staff and direct care personnel.
• Monitors health status and documents in the medical record system.
• Oversees nursing activities and ensures compliance with policies.
• Responds to emergencies and provides patient care as needed.
