Job summary
Health & Human Services Comm in Corpus Christi State Supported Living Center is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse II for evening shifts. The role involves administering medications, performing complex nursing procedures, and guiding other staff to ensure high-quality care for residents with developmental needs.
The position requires LVN licensure in Texas (or reciprocity), with opportunities for overtime and additional evening shifts.
Qualifications
- Graduation from LVN program.
- Licensed to practice as LVN in Texas or with reciprocity.
- Experience with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred.
Responsibilities
- Administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Trains/instructs LVN staff and direct care staff.
- Provides nursing care and assessments for residents with complex medical needs.
- Documents treatments and observations in medical records.
