Job summary
Health & Human Services Commission (HHSC) in Texas seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse II to support residents at the San Antonio State Supported Living Center. This full-time role offers morning, evening and night shifts with opportunities for additional shifts and weekend work.

Qualifications
- Knowledge of nursing care standards and procedures.
- Ability to follow emergency procedures (CPR) and respond to health events.
- Strong communication with residents, families and team members.
- Proficiency with electronic health records and documentation.
- Ability to provide patient care to individuals with complex medical needs.
Responsibilities
- Administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Performs advanced nursing tasks and health assessments.
- Trains and mentors LVN staff and directs care on assigned units.
- Maintains accurate health records and reports to RNs/physicians.
- Collaborates with nurses and other professionals to improve resident health.
