ROC Ventures is seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare high-quality dishes with precision while keeping your station clean and organized in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen/restaurant experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping, slicing, and marinating according to recipe specifications.
• Cooking & Plating: Cook food to order, following standardized recipes and portion sizes; ensure high quality and presentation.
• Station Maintenance: Maintain an organized, clean workstation; sanitize equipment and utensils.
• Collaboration: Work with cooks and kitchen staff; communicate with waitstaff and management.
• Inventory & Stocking: Monitor station inventory and communicate needs to kitchen managers.
• Quality Control: Ensure food quality, temperature, and presentation meet standards; report equipment issues.
• Adherence to Health and Safety: Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and sanitation.
