Job summary

River City Casino & Hotel is seeking a dedicated Line Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen. You will prepare items per standard recipes, assist in prep, and coordinate with dining staff to ensure timely, accurate orders.

The role requires at least 1 year of line cook experience, strong teamwork and communication, basic reading/math for recipes, and strict adherence to sanitation and confidentiality policies.

Qualifications

• One year of line cook experience preferred.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Basic reading and math for recipes and measurements.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items following standard recipes and menus.
• Wash, cut, and cook ingredients.

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitary standards.
• Coordinate with dining room staff and communicate orders.
• Complete prep sheets and follow opening/closing procedures.
