Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Lead Sterile Processing Tech for the Evenings in Glenview, Illinois. The role supports the Sterile Processing Department, with 40 hours per week and a 3:00pm–11:30pm schedule that includes rotating weekends and holidays.

Required: High school diploma or GED, CBSPD or CRCST certification upon hire, and two years of healthcare sterile processing experience. Proficiency in Outlook is required.

Qualifications

• Outlook proficiency required.
• Two years of healthcare sterile processing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in running the department when supervisor is unavailable.
• Inform management of items and supplies needed to order; assist in locating instrumentation and adjust workflow to meet OR demand.
• Oversee daily departmental needs.
• Provide sterile processed materials and equipment to hospital and affiliated facilities.
• Follow procedures for decontamination, assembly, packaging, sterilization and case cart setup to ensure quality for patient care.
• Ensure decontamination completion and correct labeling and placement of sterile items.
