Job summary

Chimes is seeking a Lead Worker to supervise custodial staff on a Wednesday–Friday 4:00 PM–12:30 AM shift and Saturday–Sunday 1:30 PM–9:00 PM on-site in Maryland. Responsibilities include leading daily cleaning, ensuring contract compliance, mentoring custodians, and coordinating with supervisors to ensure quality and timely completion of tasks.

This essential role requires strong leadership, reliability, and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Six months of custodial experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CPR/FR certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead a cleaning team and oversee work quality.
• Perform daily cleaning functions while leading team.
• Transport team, supplies, and equipment to assigned buildings.
• Mentor newly hired custodians.
• Maintain sanitation of restrooms and public areas.
• Comply with all Agency policies and procedures and follow contract specifications.
• Assist with inventory and reporting as needed.
