Job summary

Sanford Health is hiring for an evening cook at the Howard Lake Care Center. You will prepare, cook and portion meals for patients, residents and staff while ensuring quality, safety and adherence to dietary guidelines.

The role requires basic math, ability to follow recipes and strong teamwork. Two years’ experience with food service and a high school diploma are preferred; on-site position with benefits and daily earnings access may be offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of two years' experience; leadership experience preferred.
• Serv Safe certification may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, season and portion food for patients, residents, staff and visitors.
• Ensure work areas and equipment meet sanitation and safety standards.
• Assist Nutrition Manager with duties as assigned.
• Follow IDDSI guidelines for food preparation and labeling.
• Maintain accurate records of temperatures and production sheets.
