Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a dedicated culinary professional at the Howard Lake, MN facility. You will prepare, cook, and portion meals for patients, residents, staff, and visitors, while maintaining clean, sanitary work areas and following standardized recipes and IDDSI guidelines.

This full-time role operates evenings from 11:00am to 7:00pm, about 30 hours weekly, with generous night and weekend differentials and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Two years experience and leadership experience preferred (location dependent).
• On-the-job training provided.
• Serv Safe may be required to obtain within designated time frame.

Responsibilities

• Performs all duties in food preparation as assigned.
• Prepares, cooks, seasons and portions food for patients/residents, staff and visitors.
• Ensures workspace is clean and sanitation is maintained.
• Adheres to recipes and IDDSI guidelines for menus and meals.
