Sanford Health is seeking a kitchen associate to prepare and portion meals for patients, staff, and visitors. You will follow standardized recipes, HACCP guidelines, and maintain clean, sanitized areas.

Strong teamwork and basic math are needed to measure ingredients and operate equipment safely. The role requires reading and following directions, occasional on-the-job training, and may require Serv Safe certification or BLS depending on location.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Reading, writing, and following directions.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Six months of applicable experience preferred.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Serv Safe may be required depending on location.
• BLS may be required depending on location.
• Driver's license may be required depending on location.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, assemble, cook, season and portion food for patients/residents, staff, and visitors.
• Adhere to food quality standards for appearance, taste, temperature and sanitation.
• Wash and clean cooking and serving areas; maintain sanitation.
• Label and store food, equipment and machinery properly.
• Communicate effectively with internal customers and work in a team-oriented environment.
• Follow HACCP guidelines for safe food handling and documentation.
