Job summary

HNL Lab Medicine in Roble, California is seeking a qualified Medical Technologist to perform high, moderate, and waived testing in the Automation department, following established SOPs.

You will work Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM with rotating weekend and holiday coverage based on operational needs, onsite.

The role requires graduation in medical technology or related field, CLIA 88 compliance, and preferred ASCP/ASMT/NCA certification; strong communication with clinicians.

Qualifications

• Must meet CLIA 88 personnel requirements for high complexity testing.
• Bachelor’s degree required in medical technology or related science field.
• Certification by a recognized certifying agency (ASCP/ASMT/NCA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs high, moderate, or waived testing per SOPs using instrumentation.
• Recognizes and corrects instrument malfunctions and records troubleshooting.
• Verifies and reports results; monitors for reasonableness and critical values.
• Correlates and interprets data from testing; assists physicians with results.
• Provides clinical orientation and training of new staff.
