Job summary

Health Network Laboratories LLC in Allentown is seeking a Laboratory Technologist to perform high, moderate, and waived complexity testing according to SOPs using advanced instrumentation. You will interpret data, correlate results, and assist physicians in result interpretation as needed.

The role requires working Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM with rotating weekend and holiday coverage, onsite at the HNL Roble site, and participation in CSI and continuing education activities.

Qualifications

• Must meet CLIA 88 personnel requirements for high complexity testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or related science from an accredited institution, or CLIA grandfathered regulation.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical information; communicate with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs high, moderate, or waived laboratory testing per SOPs.
• Recognizes instrument malfunctions and records troubleshooting steps.
• Reports test results with checks for reasonableness and critical values.
• Prepares and collects specimens for analysis.
• Provides training to new employees or students.
