Job summary

HNL Lab Medicine in Allentown, PA seeks a Medical Technologist to perform high, moderate, and waived testing across divisions, using advanced instrumentation and SOP-directed protocols. You will verify results, monitor quality control, and interpret data to support physician diagnoses.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor's in medical technology or related science, and may have ASCP/ASMT/NCA certification. This onsite role offers growth within a large regional lab network.

Qualifications

• CLIA 88 personnel requirements for high complexity testing.
• Bachelor's degree in medical technology or related science from an accredited institution.
• Certification by a recognized certifying agency preferred (ASCP, ASMT, NCA, etc).

Responsibilities

• Perform high/moderate/high complexity testing per SOPs with independent judgment.
• Monitor instrument function, troubleshoot, and record issues.
• Report results, verify data, and interpret test outcomes.
• Provide training for new staff and students; participate in CSI and education.
