Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Las Vegas is seeking a Lab Associate II to support routine laboratory workflows, including sample prep, labeling, and specimen handling. This non-licensed position works on evenings Tuesday through Saturday, helping ensure timely processing and accurate results.

The role requires at least a high school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of laboratory experience; a Bachelor's in Biological Science or Chemistry is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of histopathology, cytology or other laboratory experience.
• 1 year of experience handling PHI and other patient information using LIS.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and organizes samples for testing.
• Labels, handles, processes or prepares specimens.
• Assists licensed personnel or supervisor in testing activities.
• Maintains inventory of reagents and supplies.
• Performs data entry and prepares workload reports.
