Job summary
Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Specimen Processing Supervisor to manage daily operations, uphold safety, and drive quality across the Specimen Processing department. You will train staff, monitor productivity, and ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.
The role runs Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM with rotational weekends; pay starts at $58,656 per year and may include annual bonus eligibility.
Qualifications
- Internal candidates require a minimum of two years in a Group Leader/related role.
- Five years of experience in a laboratory is preferred.
- Previous people leadership experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the Specimen Processing department and related functions.
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures for Specimen Processing.
- Ensure all documentation and regulatory compliance are met.
- Coach, train, and evaluate staff; manage scheduling and staffing needs.
- Monitor quality, safety, and productivity; drive continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with QA and Medical Director's offices as needed.
- Assist in budgeting and cost containment initiatives.
