Job summary

Qualifications

• On-the-job training provided.
• Continuous standing; frequent walking, climbing, bending, crouching, pushing/pulling and carrying.
• Able to lift weights as specified in physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the general sanitation of the kitchen.
• Set up dishmachine for meal service.
• Maintain cleanliness of pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Remove garbage and recycle products.
• Organize storerooms and coolers.
• Attend all scheduled in-services.

Skills

Able to follow verbal instructions

Ability to read written directions for chemicals
