Responsibilities

• Assess unit service needs regarding food, paper, dishware, sanitation and cleanliness.
• Pick up supplies, diet lists, menus, and restock cabinets.
• Set up service areas, take temperatures and record.
• Serve resident meals according to CNA orders.
• Clean service areas and sanitize utensils after each meal.
• Return soiled items and unused food to the dish room.
• Sanitize all service items with dish machine after each meal.
• Inventory items for next shift and place in unit mailbox.
• Complete sanitation checklist and hand to supervisor before leaving.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
