Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred. Culinary or Apprenticeship program preferred.
• 1-2 years of prior cooking experience in a similar role required.
• Ability to obtain local, state, or federal sanitation or food service certifications.
• Must adhere to Local 122 Collective Bargaining Agreement regulations, with union option after 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all station-specific food items according to recipes and guest requests.
• Visually inspect and select food items ideal for preparation.
• Check storage, monitor portion sizes, and ensure proper refrigeration.
• Keep areas clean and compliant with Health Department regulations.
• Ensure equipment is clean, sanitized, and in proper condition.
• Advance prep, set up station, and break down after service.
• Perform general cleaning tasks and assist chefs as directed.
