Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 years related experience or training.
• Sanitation/Safe Food Handling certification preferred; can be earned after hire.
• Prior institutional or healthcare service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes and prepare foods per menus meeting residents' nutritional needs.
• Prepare palatable, nutritious meals in required quantities.
• Lead kitchen staff with food prep, assembling trays, cleaning and storage.
• Maintain a clean food service work area during service.
• Handle, store and dispose of food in compliance with procedures and regulations.
