Job summary

Lineage is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Operator to manage inventory records, data entry, and order fulfillment in our Chesapeake facility. You will count, receive, store and ship products, while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in daily cycles and records.

The role requires problem-solving, vigilance with stock levels, and the ability to work in varied temperatures with appropriate PPE. Training is provided; benefits begin after 30 days, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand instructions in the country’s official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Keep inventory, purchasing, shipping and other records.
• Compile data from purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and reports.
• Determine stock supply and need for replenishment.
• Address damages, inventory adjustments, and shrink issues.
• Identify product and verify shipping order accuracy with catalogs and references.
• Review files to find unused items and recommend disposal of excess or damaged products.
• Operate warehouse equipment following safety standards.
