Job summary

Lineage is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Operator in Chester, VA, with a 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM schedule. The role requires operating forklifts, using RF scanners, and handling pallets while maintaining strict safety standards. You will verify inventory, prepare shipments, and support warehousing operations in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to identify products via reading, interpreting, and scanning pallet IDs.
• Ability to read and follow computerized work orders.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work in cold and dry storage environments with PPE.
• Must be able to lift 40 lbs or more.
• Flexible shift including weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow computerized work orders to determine quantities and types of products to be shipped.
• Determine the location of requested items in the warehouse.
• Change over pallets for picking; inspect items for damages.
• Document and report damages to supervisors or leads.
• Pack, seal, and label materials for shipping using RF scanning equipment.
• Alert leaders to product issues and follow directions to fix them.
• Help clean and organize the warehouse at shift end.
• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment.
