Job summary

Lineage Logistics in Chester, VA is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Operator to join our warehouse team. You will read computerized work orders, locate items, prepare pallets for shipping, and use RF scanning to verify counts while maintaining accuracy and safety.

Applicants should be able to lift up to 40 lbs, work a 2:00 PM–10:30 PM shift, and adapt to temperatures from -20°F to 100°F in a fast-paced environment. On‑the‑job training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Identify products by reading, interpreting, and scanning pallet IDs.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends if needed.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow computerized work orders to determine quantities and types of products to be shipped.
• Determine the location of requested items in the warehouse.
• Change over pallets for picking, visually inspect items for damages or flaws.
• Document and report damages to supervisors or leads.
• Pack, seal, and label materials/pallets for shipping using RF scanning equipment to document and verify counts of picked items.
• Alert appropriate leader of any issues with the product or materials and await directions to rectify the problem.
• Help clean and organize the warehouse at the end of the shift.
