Job summary

Arkansas Hospice, Inc. is seeking an Inpatient Services Assistant Manager (RN) to help coordinate day-to-day inpatient unit operations in Little Rock. You will support the Inpatient Services Manager, lead a multidisciplinary team, and ensure safe, high-quality care in a 24/7 rotation.

The role requires BSN preferred, AR RN licensure, at least two years nursing experience, and a valid AR driver’s license. You will participate in QAPI activities, staff development, and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of two years’ nursing experience in a hospital, home health, hospice, or related setting within the previous five years.
• Licensure: Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Arkansas.
• Additional Requirements: Arkansas driver’s license, automobile, and insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical supervision of all personnel (RNs, LPNs, CNAs, Chaplains, Social Workers).
• Assist IPU manager in ongoing evaluation of clinical staff and provide input into staff evaluations.
• Coordinate ongoing review and modification of patient care; ensure timely initiation of care by appropriate disciplines on admission.
• Preside at interdisciplinary team meetings and document outcomes; ensure minutes are recorded.
• Participate in QAPI activities and promote performance improvement education for staff, patients and families.
