Job summary

Arkansas Hospice, Inc. seeks an On-Call Registered Nurse to provide skilled nursing and supportive care in patient homes on weekends, evenings, nights, and holidays. You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement and evaluate care plans and report changes to physicians.

The role requires an Arkansas RN license, 2 years nursing experience including 1 year in hospice or home health; BSN preferred. A valid AR driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assumes weekend, evenings, nights and holiday on-call duties as scheduled.
• Provides nursing interventions and supportive care in patient homes.
• Communicates with attending physicians and Medical Director to coordinate hospice care.
• Maintains current patient records in the electronic medical record.
