Job summary

Arkansas Hospice, Inc. is seeking a Staff Registered Nurse (RN) for the Day Shift - PRN in Little Rock, AR. The RN coordinates the interdisciplinary Plan of Care for patients and families, providing interventions to address physical, psychological, social, economic, and spiritual needs as part of the care team.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, RN licensure in Arkansas, CPR certification, and flexibility for occasional overtime. BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Arkansas.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care and coordinate the Plan of Care for patients/families.
• Perform ongoing assessments and communicate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Relieve pain and address spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of patients.
• Maintain up-to-date patient records and document care daily.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about hospice care and services.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care conferences.
