Job summary

Hospice Home Care in Little Rock, AR is seeking a dedicated Hospice Registered Nurse to join our team. You will provide patient-centered care during a critical period and support families with compassionate guidance and education.

The role requires RN licensure in the operating state, with 1 year of nursing experience (3+ preferred) and hospice care knowledge. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are expected.

Qualifications

• RN license in the operating state is required.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience; 3+ years preferred.
• Experience in hospice or similar setting preferred.
• Knowledge of hospice philosophy of care.
• Commitment to clinical and documentation excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assess/ monitor physical, emotional, and psychological needs of patients.
• Create hospice care plans that align with the patients wishes and goals.
• Direct nursing care: administering medications, treatments, and interventions.
• Provide pain and symptom management.
• Educate and support the patient’s family and caregivers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotation as required by local branch.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with current licensure to practice in state of operation
• One year nursing experience required , 3+ years preferred
• Experience in hospice or a similar setting preferred
• Knowledge of the hospice philosophy of care

• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state/or organization requirements and is in good working order
