Job summary

Wonderful Citrus in Delano, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and predictive maintenance on automated food processing equipment. The role emphasizes safety, food quality, and machine efficiency, with opportunities to train operators and collaborate across departments.

You will work 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM, performing inspections, welding and fabrication as needed, and using predictive tools to assess equipment condition.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Technical degree and 3+ years in manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety compliance (LOTO, fall protection, hot work) for self and coworkers.
• Perform uptime/downtime inspections, lubrication, and preventative maintenance.
• Use thermal imaging, vibration analysis, and ultrasonics to assess machine health.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Identify and implement equipment and process improvements.
• Train operators and maintenance staff.
• Dismantle/reassemble complex machinery; use fabrication equipment.
• Create/modify work orders in CMMS; document work performed.
• Escalate issues to lead or supervisor as needed.
