Job summary

Wonderful Citrus is seeking an experienced maintenance technician based in Delano, CA. You will perform preventative and predictive maintenance on automated food processing equipment, prioritizing safety, food quality and machine efficiency.

The role requires compliance with safety rules, troubleshooting across mechanical/electrical systems, and applying predictive technologies to assess conditions. Shift includes 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM. Competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Technical degree and three years or more of related experience in production/manufacturing preferred.
• Stand and/or walk for up to 10-hour shift.
• Climb on a ladder or scaffolding to heights in excess of 10 feet.
• Tolerate PPE such as steel-toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, ear protection, masks, belts.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Ensures self and coworkers comply with all safety rules and regulations (LOTO, fall protection, hot work).
• Perform uptime and downtime inspections, lubrication, and preventative maintenance.
• Use predictive technologies (thermal imaging, vibration analysis, ultrasonics) to assess machine condition.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems in the facility.
• Identify and implement equipment, documentation, work system, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with employees across departments via face-to-face, phone, email and radio.
