Job summary

Wonderful Citrus in Delano, CA is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on packaging equipment such as baggers, printers, CSMA, weighers, and box formers.

You will learn to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, assist with downtime and uptime inspections, and support operators while advancing through training and development.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Technical degree and three years or more of related experience in a production environment preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, interpret and present general business items to groups.
• Overtime, weekends and rotating shifts may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on packaging equipment.
• Operate Baggers, Printers, CSMA, Weighers and Box Formers.
• Conduct uptime/downtime inspections and lubrication.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Collaborate with Operators to maximize equipment efficiency.
• Assist training of operators and other team members.
• Create CMMS work orders and document work performed.
• Assist with bin jam clearance and equipment repairs.
• Minor rebuilds like bearings, shafts, and sprockets.
