Job summary
The Wonderful Company’s Wonderful Citrus division is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician based in Delano, CA. You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance on automated food processing equipment, prioritizing safety, food quality, and machine efficiency.
You’ll troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, use CMMS for work orders, and train operators. This on-site role offers shift 4:00 PM–12:30 AM and opportunities for growth with a premier produce
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Technical degree and three years or more of related experience preferred (or equivalent combination).
- Stand/walk for up to 10 hours; climb ladders to heights >10'.
- Bend/stoop/kneel/crouch/squat frequently for extended periods.
- Frequently lift up to 50 pounds; work at heights.
- Tolerate PPE including steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, ear protection.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment.
- Utilize predictive technologies to assess machine condition.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Create and update work orders in the CMMS.
- Provide training to operators and maintenance personnel.
- Escalate issues to lead or supervisor as needed.
