Job summary

The MetroHealth System is seeking an HVAC maintenance technician to service and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems at METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER. You will read blueprints, operate electronic environmental controls, and support safe, reliable facilities operations in a community-focused health system.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, EPA 608 Universal Certification, and OH HVAC licensure (or journeyman).

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Possess a current EPA Section 608 Universal Certification.
• HVAC license for Ohio or Journeyman’s License for Ohio.
• Documented 8 years HVAC experience or vocational training.
• 4 years of HVAC experience including repairing industrial refrigeration equipment.
• Possess a valid driver's license.
• Ability to read and utilize blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Maintain heating/ventilation/air conditioning/refrigeration systems per blueprints and specs.
• Operate electronically-controlled environmental systems.
• Uphold the mission and customer service standards of The MetroHealth System.
