Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking an HVAC technician to maintain refrigeration, air conditioning, and mechanical systems across hospital facilities. Qualifications

• A level of knowledge normally acquired through completion of a high school diploma program or GED and completion of a vocational training program.
• 3 years of relevant experience with HVAC equipment
• General knowledge of welding, soldering, braising, basic electronics, plumbing and mechanics; ability to read blueprints/schematic drawings.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC and mechanical systems according to blueprints/engineering specs.
• Diagnose problems, perform repairs, and conduct preventive maintenance on HVAC and related equipment.
• Service and maintain air conditioning, refrigeration, and mechanical systems; disassemble units for repair; test and balance systems.
