Job summary

Waterford Hotel Group is seeking a 2nd Shift Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the evening housekeeping operation and maintain Marriott brand standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

The role leads housekeeping associates on the second shift, coordinates with Front Office, Engineering, Security and Food & Beverage, and ensures rooms and public areas meet quality expectations while coaching and developing the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel environment.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Housekeeping associates during the second shift.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings, communicate daily tasks, follow ups and special projects.
• Assign daily work and monitor productivity.
• Complete shift reports and communicate pass-on information to the Housekeeping Leadership team.
• Document room discrepancies and maintenance issues.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to associates.
• Ensure compliance with Marriott standards, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Assist with training of new associates.
• Promote teamwork, professionalism, and a positive work environment.
• Inspect guestrooms, suites, public spaces, restrooms, corridors, and service areas to ensure cleanliness and brand standards.
• Follow up on room deficiencies and ensure corrective action is completed promptly.
