The position provides courier support to Pre- and Post-Operative Departments, transporting and escorting patients and delivering specimens, equipment, and schedules across the hospital using safe transfer techniques.

No prior experience is required, though experience in a hospital or health care setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• No experience required, however hospital/healthcare setting experience preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification must be completed within 90 days of hire.
• Education aligns with entry-level courier duties in a hospital environment.

Responsabilités

• Promotes the facility mission, vision and values to others and aligns services with them.
• Performs transport duties for the department as necessary.
• Establishes, maintains and revises record keeping and filing systems, ensuring confidentiality of information.
• Consistently attentive to detail when delivering paperwork.
• Distributes mail in a timely manner.
• Answers and routes telephone calls, providing appropriate referrals as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
