DHR Health in Edinburg, TX is seeking a full-time Courier/Transport role within Surgical Services. The position provides patient transport between departments and supports the Pre- and Post-Operative areas using safe transfer techniques.

No experience is required, though experience in a hospital or health care setting is preferred. A High School Diploma or GED is preferred and BLS/CPR certification must be completed within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• No experience required; hospital or health care setting preferred.
• Must be able to transport patients and couriers safely.
• Ability to maintain confidential records and filing.

Responsabilités

• Transport and escort patients to and from departments using safe transfer techniques.
• Deliver specimens, equipment, schedules, and supplies throughout the hospital.
• Maintain transportation equipment in clean and safe condition.
• May run errands outside the facility as needed.
