Job summary

Adventist Health Glendale is seeking a courteous and capable Concierge to manage the hospital's telephone switchboard, paging, and related communications systems. The role involves routing callers, assisting patients, and coordinating with hospital staff to ensure smooth operations.

You will train with a multidisciplinary team, support admitting processes, and help maintain accurate records while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Education/GED or equivalent preferred.
• Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience preferred.
• Customer service call center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers incoming telephone calls with courteous, professional etiquette and directs calls to the correct destination.
• Operates paging system and acts as dispatcher between hospital personnel and security when needed.
• Monitors alarm panels, telephones, two‑way radio and fax; updates on-call lists and notifies required personnel.
• Assists with admitting patients and maintains accurate patient information.
• Orients, mentors, and develops department staff; performs other related duties as assigned.
