Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Hospital Evening Shift in Baltimore, MD to protect patients, visitors, and staff with strong customer service in a healthcare environment. You will patrol, monitor access, respond to incidents, and document security activities to maintain a safe, welcoming facility.

Qualifications

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
Preferred ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
CPR certification is preferred.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background check and drug screen as required by law.
Licensing requirements may apply; driver license for driving positions if applicable.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations following established protocols.
Conduct regular unarmed patrols of healthcare facility interiors and perimeters.
Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction and site entry procedures.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents and security activities.
