Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a security professional for fixed evening shifts at a hospital setting. The role involves providing customer service to patients, visitors, and staff, and carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.

You will respond to incidents calmly and follow established protocols, conducting patrols of buildings and parking areas, monitoring access points, and documenting observations promptly.

Qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• A drug screen will be conducted as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific procedures and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and maintain professional communication with hospital personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and in a timely manner.
