Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Hospital Evening Shift in Baltimore, MD to protect patients, visitors, and staff with strong customer service in a healthcare environment. You will patrol, monitor access, respond to incidents, and document security activities to maintain a safe, welcoming facility.

Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Preferred ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply; driver license for driving positions if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations following established protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of healthcare facility interiors and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction and site entry procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents and security activities.

As a Security Officer Hospital Evening Shift in Baltimore, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to security-related needs. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon – 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM
• Wed – 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thur – 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun – 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, wayfinding, and compliance with site entry procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be able to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
• Preferred ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
