You will monitor access points and respond to incidents with integrity and teamwork. The position requires security experience, the ability to lift, and the willingness to meet vaccination and background-check requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of security-related experience.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Criminal histories reviewed under applicable laws.
• Drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff and contractors while enforcing security procedures.
• Conduct unarmed patrols of clinical areas, public spaces, parking areas and perimeters.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, following protocols and notifying responders.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and checking credentials as needed.
• Document patrols and incidents clearly and report concerns to leadership.
