Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital, part of Trinity Health Of New England, is seeking an Environmental Services Aide for the Evening shift on a part-time basis. You will perform repetitive cleaning tasks to maintain sanitary hospital areas, move furniture, operate cleaning equipment, and restock supplies.

Qualified candidates read/understand English, have at least 3 months healthcare cleaning experience, can lift up to 50 lbs, and will use PPE as needed.

Qualifications

• Reads, writes, and comprehends basic English.
• 3+ months of cleaning experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive cleaning motions.
• Able to handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow safety protocols.
• Must be able to follow PPE requirements and work in a Hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive cleaning assignments and obtain cleaning materials and supplies from designated areas.
• Clean assigned areas using germicidal cleaners and maintain furnishings, fixtures, and equipment.
• Strip and remake beds with fresh linens and restock supplies after patient discharge.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and buff floors; reposition furniture and equipment after cleaning.
• Visually inspect areas for cleanliness and report equipment needing repair.
