Saint Francis Hospital, part of Trinity Health Of New England, seeks an Environmental Services team member to perform routine cleaning tasks in hospital areas. The role involves moving furniture, operating cleaning equipment, and ensuring sanitary conditions across departments.

Responsibilities include stocking supplies, cleaning patient rooms, and maintaining floors, carpets, and surfaces with appropriate cleaning solutions.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and comprehend basic written instructions in English.
• Must be able to comprehend verbal instructions and speak English.
• Must be able to safely move, lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. individually.
• Must be able to safely handle cleaning chemicals and products.
• Must be able to perform repetitive cleaning motions (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Receives cleaning assignments and transports materials to work areas.
• Cleans assigned hospital areas using germicidal solutions and cleans fixtures and equipment.
• Makes beds with fresh linens and restocks supplies in patient areas.
• Vacuuming, mopping, and buffing large floor areas and arranging furniture after cleaning.
• Operates and maintains sanitation equipment and reports any repairs needed.
