Atlantic Health Hackettstown Medical Center is seeking a Part-Time Environmental Aide I (Housekeeping). The role handles cleaning of nursing units, patient rooms and public areas with emphasis on safety and proper labeling of chemicals.

Starting rate is $18.50/hr, with 4:00 PM–12:00 AM shifts and rotating weekends. Ideal candidates will have a HS diploma or GED, be able to read, write and speak English, and stand for long periods while lifting up to 50 lbs.

Formación

• Must read, write and speak English.
• Ability to apply elementary math.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and be on feet for most of the shift.

Responsabilidades

• Clean nursing units, patients' rooms (including bathrooms) and all designated areas.
• Check EVS cart; ensure supplies are stocked and labeled.
• Remove trash and transport soiled/clean linens; restock linens.
• Follow cleaning, disinfecting and deodorization procedures.
• Maintain safety regarding bloodborne pathogens, OSHA regulations and patient safety.
• Report repairs to maintenance and assist with monthly department meetings.
