Job summary

Atlantic Health Hackettstown Medical Center is seeking a Part-Time Environmental Aide I (Housekeeping). Hours are 8:00 AM–4:00 PM with rotating weekends. Starting rate is $18.50 per hour.

You will clean nursing units and patient rooms, stock supplies, and follow safety procedures using basic computer tools. Requires HS diploma or GED, English fluency, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs; hospital housekeeping experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required (or obtain within 1 year).
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience in hospital housekeeping preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean nursing units, patient rooms and facility areas with proper equipment.
• Check EVS cart and ensure labeled, dated chemicals.
• Stock paper supplies in bathrooms.
• Respond to spills and maintain safety protocols.
• Report repairs to maintenance.
