Job summary

NYU Langone Health seeks a Hospital Concierge for the West Medicine Unit on the Evening Shift (35 hours). The role supports patient care activities, maintains records, coordinates with unit staff, and ensures timely communications with the care team, patients, families and visitors.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, strong computer skills, and excellent interpersonal abilities. Bilingual skills are a plus; training aligns with NYU Core Values and a commitment to high-quality patient

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Computer literacy including keyboard input, data entry, email, intranet usage.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Creative problem solving and ability to work under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check-in arriving patients to support nursing unit operations.
• Coordinate activities with unit staff and other departments.
• Communicate clearly and timely with health care team, patients, families and visitors.
• Triaging/answering calls and assisting with patient concerns via MyWall.
• Work under direct supervision and uphold NYU Core Values in all tasks.
