Qualifications

• Must understand medical terminology and healthcare documentation.
• Experience with medical records management and regulatory guidelines.
• Familiarity with transcription of physician orders and charting.

Responsibilities

• Resident-centered admissions coordination and data entry into records system.
• Maintain organized, accurate in-house medical records daily.
• Monitor physician orders and required signatures for timely completion.
• Track labs, schedule appointments, and arrange transportation as needed.
• Prepare referrals, transfers, and discharge documentation with proper transcription.
• Assemble complete medical records during discharge procedures.
