Job summary

Ferrara in the United States is seeking a 2nd shift candy coating associate. The role coats candy after deposition and curing and supports general duties in a manufacturing setting.

You will review materials paperwork, setup and wash down equipment, perform quality checks, and strive to reduce scrap while keeping a clean, organized work area. The shift runs 11:45am–8:15pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Basic problem solving skills.
• Ability to pass pallet jack and forklift certification.
• Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Coat candy after deposition and curing, prior to packaging.
• Setup and wash down of equipment including conveyors and other gear.
• Maintain equipment settings and ensure quality and quantity of sanding materials.
• Perform quality checks and report findings.
• Identify opportunities to reduce scrap and waste.
• Keep the work area organized and clean.
